Dr. Christopher and Dolores Slaton work as a husband and wife team advocating for the human and civil rights of poor, minority, special and high needs families. In 1998, the Slatons' founded Save Our Youth the Next Generations, which is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, designed as a child family and community development project.
Dr. Christopher Slaton serves as Save Our Youth's Executive Director and specializes in evidence based research practices dealing with learning and behavior disorders. He is the premier Human Systems scientist and consultant in the Northern California area, studying the effects of learning and behavior disorders on family systems. He is also the author of Education and Science: How the Body lives, How the Brain learns, How the Human System thinks, how Human Systems Reseach responds, A Progressive Investing Perspective (2009) and Education and Science: The Information Processing Age, The Learning Parent and Child in Crisis (2010). Dr. Dolores Slaton serves as the Director of Family Services. Her work involves systematic application of scientific methods to improve family leadership for each family member. Family members are shown how to understand the correlation between family, education, government and business relationships and how to use these networks for the development of thier family system. Save Our Youth's work is centered on advocating for parents, children and families experiencing adversity with public education due to unadressed learning and behavior disorders. Practices are also designed to assist teachers, principals, administrators and other social service providers who work with parents, children and families in crisis.
